WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ZINC OXIDE TAPE AND KINESIOLOGY TAPE?

Zinc Oxide Tapes are rigid (non-stretch) and designed to support, immobilise and restrict movements around injured areas. Kinesiology Tapes stretch to 180% and are typically uses to provide support without restriction to muscles and joints.

DOES THIS TAPE LEAVE A RESIDUE?

This depends on how long you have been wearing it, and how hard it has had to work to stay in place. Generally our Zinc Oxide Tapes can be removed and leave no residue - but to be certain, use some of our Tape Off Removal Spray.

CAN I SWIM/SHOWER WITH THIS TAPE ON?

Zinc Oxide Tapes are not waterproof, so would likely not last through a swim. The glue is super strong though, so it can easily withstand a match-day downpour, the streams of a trail ultramarathon or the sweat of a long hike.

Yes, but it may take a few practice runs. Zinc Oxide Tan is harder to rip than our cotton (white) Zinc Oxide because the fabric is heavier. However, if you get a good pinch, and then rip away by only moving one hand, it will rip easily. No scissors.

HOW LONG DOES EACH ROLL LAST FOR REGULAR USE?

A 10m roll of tape can offer 50+ uses, but it depends on what area you are taping. Blister applications only need a few strips, whereas an ankle application may require a few meters of tape.
