Really nice system. They include extra screws, which are all the same length because they designed it that way (factory screws they replace are two sizes). I bought three sets in total for all my Avata 2 drones. Excellent solution to protect the camera/gimbal. I crash all the time and I haven't had any damage to cam/gim since installing these.

Installs easily with a small screwdriver by first removing small bolts, 3 minute job. Provides additional protection for the exposed and vulnerable gimble. I think it should be a standard safety feature for all Avata 2 drones. It does not adversely affect the drone performance or shorten flight time.

Works really well. Just wanted a bit of protection on the drone while learning how to fly in acro mode. Works well. I do not see a difference in the way the drone feels in the air. Installation was easy using the included aftermarket screws. Torx driver that came with it is staying in the drone case, nice little addition. Arrived quickly. Installed in about 3 minutes.

These line up perfectly and are metallic. They’re real lightweight so I suspect they will cause very little to no loss of flight time. They protrude a little further than the stock front bumpers, so they fully provide protection for the gimbal.

Aside from having a challenge with the small size of the screws, I got each guard attached within a few minutes. Hopefully I won't need the them to protect the gimbal but if I do, I trust they'll provide needed protection. I like the orange trim on either side.

Excellent product

This guard works great as extra protection for the Avata 2’s camera and gimbal. It doesn’t interfere at all with the camera view or flight characteristics. You are going to crash as it’s just part of flying FPV, so extra protection is always a good idea.

They did the job saved my drone. I had to take one off and straighten it out and then put it back on these things are worth the money.

Good product

This gimbal bumper is something that should've been included with the drone. The bumper consist of two alloy pieces that are very easy to install. Everything needed is included with the kit. The bumpers are not visible in the video and if you fly into a tree or a wall, they should protect the camera. If you smack into something at high speed thou, you'll probably break the mounts and all, but at least for lower speed crashes, this make the difference and save the drone from a scratched lens or damaged gimbal. The bumper is very light and doesn't affect the flight characteristics of the drone. If you also have aftermarket bumpers on the propellers then the this gimbal bumper might be redundant. When I put the prop guards on then in a head on collision they contact the object first and technically the gimbal is safe. Since I'm just at the learning stages of FPV flying I'm going to use both for now, as the weight penalty is so minimal.
