Rightly or wrongly I also give a feature brick wall in my lounge a quick spray - it brightens the brick and temporarily seals its surface - but maybe that is not its intended use. I am pleasantly surprised by this product, I will buy it again - and again, it leaves my home smelling clean and pleasant and the furniture looks bright and cared-for. If you have a small spare piece try it on that first, if not i would not use it. **Q: Can this be used on varnished internal doors?** A: I think so. I use it on all my wood doors and furniture. It seems very mild and nourishing to wood surfaces.
