This product works quite well. The refrigeration feature is effective, and the timer controlling the food dispenser works as expected. I use it to dispense every 12 hours for a 3 day period and it works. The unit is easy to clean. The only concern is that there is no battery backup for the timer--if the power cord is disconnected, the unit would stop working.

Item is great for my needs! My cat just got diagnosed with hypertension and now needs a pill form of medicine twice daily. I crush it up and sprinkle it on wet food. I mostly got it with the intention of needing it on weekends when I’m not always home since I solely rely on myself to give my cat medicine but I use it everyday since it’s easier timewise that way. It’s great since it keeps the food cold without having to rely on ice packs like a bunch of other units on Amazon. I keep it on the middle temp range and the food stays fresh, no crusting from being dried out. Some people say it’s noisy but I don’t think so, or at least my unit is not and I’m sensitive to noise. Only downside was the latches on it were difficult to press in and release the lid at the same time which I saw in another review but I just cut one of the latches off with scissors easily and now the lid just lays over the top without a “lock” which my cat isn’t smart enough to lift the lid so it worked out well!

It’s frustrating that you have to remove the lid just to change the time, especially since the lid is difficult to take off. I even broke a nail while trying to test it. Also, there’s no app to control this—only one for daily food tracking, which is disappointing. There are more inexpensive product that have more advance features.

Have had this feeder a couple of weeks and like it much better than previous one I bought. But stillTrying to understand the feeding timer for 2 x day plus 1 more. The timer would only let me set slot 2 & 3 for the 2 feedings. I want to set up 3 feedings. 9am., 6pm, then 9am when out of town overnight . I’m yet to figure it out.

Pretty disappointed. I used it for the first time this past weekend when I was away. It really does not get cold. I wanted to return it, but the window closed today evidently. Not happy

I had a 3 day trip and this was perfect for the day in between. It was super easy to program and kept food cold. I also have a petlibro and this is easier to set up.

This has become my go-to feeder for my cat. She has a sensitive stomach and primarily eats wet food so I searched extensively for a refrigerated automatic wet food feeder rather than one with ice packs. I purchased this about a month and a half ago and use it daily. I love that the tray feeder has five slots that are the perfect meal size for my cat rather than the 3 large meal tray that comes with the PetLibro. It also reduces any odor that comes with wet food because it constantly cools the food and the other four slots are always covered. Although the plastic tray is easy to clean, I wish that there was a stainless steel version to reduce bacteria growth. In addition, this does not have an additional power source so you do have to keep it plugged it. However, anytime I have unplugged it and plugged it back in, it turns right back on. Considering what’s on the market, my needs and the reliability, this is a phenomenal product.
