If you need something that helps with a viral infection that can cause a prickly rash that feels like it’s burning and itchy, basically on fire, this lotion is the key. I had an allergic reaction, started to recover with antihistamines and aloe Vera but my body caught a cold — as my immune system was already in fight mode — my rash gradually got worse. I couldn’t get too hot and nothing but ice could soothe my itchy burning rash on my chest and arms. I don’t like anything to do with pharmaceuticals but this I had to bend on. Though, I will argue that their main ingredient is zinc oxide, which itself is obtained from naturally occurring zinc ores mined from the earth. Here are the main things it is great for; * itching * mild rashes * insect bites * sunburn * poison ivy/chickenpox irritation I hope you find this helpful. I love this product. Calamine I've found to buy in regular stores are all a runny liquid, hard to put on without getting all over the place and not staying where you want it. This is thick and can be directed exactly where you want it. Tube ended up being larger than I thought.

If you ever get shingles, this is the cream to use. It helps the burning sensation and the itching.
