A few weeks later I used Oh Yuk and was amazed at how much more dirt came out of the jets. I feel the product does an excellent job in removing soap scum and other nasties living in the plumbing system. With that said, however, make sure the room is well ventilated. Once I filled my tub and added the 4 ounces of the product, the fumes immediately made me cough. I turned on the exhaust fan and opened a window then I left the room while the jets ran for 15 minutes. The active ingredient is quaternary ammonium, a known respiratory irritant. If you have any lung issues, you may wish to wear a protective mask. After emptying and cleaning the tub, I ran another full tub of plain water through the jets to ensure all of the product was removed.
