The Economical, Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover The TruXedo TruXport is a soft, roll-up tonneau cover that provides pickup owners with both the value often associated with snap style covers and the features of more high-end models. Sporting a sleek black profile appearance that is not altered up by the arched bow rods inserted into the material of other tonneau covers, it is a testament to the TruXedo brand name, and is designed to add a touch of style to most any pickup truck. In addition, the TruXedo TruXport offers the best in function, providing bed protection and improved gas mileage up to 10% by way of its well-conceived aerodynamic design. Initial installation can be completed with minimal tools by virtually any Do-it-yourselfer in as little as 20 minutes with no drilling or cutting, instead utilizing a clamp system around your truck's box rail. Once installed, the industrial strength cover relies on a combination of Velcro closures along the top rails that are among the widest in the industry, loop and hook fasteners at the tailgate and a manual tension control system that compensates for material expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes to keep it firmly in place. Reliably tight and secure, the TruXport protects the contents of your truck bed from all weather conditions within a temperature range of -20°F to well into the triple digits. Additional features include availability for a wide range of pickup models and makes, the ability to open the tailgate while the cover is on and accommodation during installation of bed liners and bed caps. Simple Care and Maintenance The TruXedo TruXport leather grain fabric cover can be hand washed with mild soap and water or cleaned in a car wash. Owners should ensure that they thoroughly rinse the cover to remove any soap residue. The cover can also be treated with any vinyl protectant made for any tonneau cover. TruXedo recommends Pro-Tex Soft Tonneau Protectant to clean, preserve and protect TruXedo brand tonneau covers. As a rule of thumb, never use silicon, petroleum, or citrus based products on your tonneau cover.
