By releasing ladybirds in your garden you can boost their numbers, which will lead to a permanent decrease in the number of pests in your garden i.e. aphids. N.B. Green Gardener only supplies British Adalia bipunctata ladybirds – we do NOT supply Harlequin ladybirds. This Family pack contains BOTH 25 x Adult Ladybirds and 50 x Ladybird Larvae ready for release in your garden. Ladybird Larvae – Each ladybird larvae will eat a large number of pests before pupating and emerging as a ladybird ready to breed and produce the next generation of ladybirds. As they are supplied as larvae, they are ideal for releasing directly onto plants heavily infected with aphids – as they they are unable to fly and will stay where you put them. Supplied in trays of approximately 50 ready for release directly into your garden / greenhouse or conservatory. Adult Ladybirds – We supply native British Adalia bipunctata ladybirds in packs of ready for release in your garden. Ladybirds are natural predators of aphids (greenfly and blackfly) as well as being a gardener’s / youngster’s favourite. They should be released directly onto aphid infected plants or dotted around the garden either early in the morning or late evening. The adult ladybirds are supplied in packs of 25 with food. Indications Pest Control, Garden Care Directions They should be released directly onto aphid infected plants or dotted around the garden either early in the morning or late evening. Review: Ladybirds - happy helpers in aphid war!!! - We had a terrible problem with aphids and didn't want to use pesticides. The ladybirds arrived safely and "alive"!!! Hooray. It was an extremely hot week but they survived. Within days - no more aphids and a noticeable presence of ladybirds in the garden. Would definitely buy again and would be a great present for an avid gardener. Review: It works! - I was a bit sceptical, but the lady birds really made a difference (even though as soon as I had set them free they disappeared and I only saw one or two ever again). The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that setting free the larvae was a right mission and I am not sure whether any of them actually made it onto the roses alive. They come in a box full of shredded paper and they and the paper shreds are so tiny, that I am sure I squashed a lot of them, either when trying to grab the paper they sat on, or when trying to actually put them onto the plant. Anyways, after about 2 weeks I had basically no green fly left on my roses. So it obviously has worked. ## Features - This Family pack contains BOTH 25 x Adult Ladybirds and 50 x Ladybird Larvae ready for release in your garden. - N.B. That never lasted because ants bullied them off the tree. Before you buy ladybirds stop the ants first. The ants spray acid on the black fly so the ladybirds won't eat them, very clever those ants. I bought one product which was basically sticky tape. The ants climbed over it in hours by making a bridge over the dead bodies of insects. The best was tape wrapped around about 8 inches of the tree stem, any sort, then Vitax 200g Fruit Tree Grease. It is not easy to get off your clothes so be careful. My cherry tree looks like it has been through a war. So a bit late for me this year but next year i will be prepared. I heard spraying a mixture of water and washing up liquid daily is also good, i will try that next time also. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ladybird Family Offer - 25 Adult Ladybirds and 50 Larvae - Wildlife World LBT Ladybird Tower - Wildlife World LBT4 Live Ladybird Lodge, Red/Brown --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/65232761-ladybird-family-offer-25-adult-ladybirds-and-50-larvae](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/65232761-ladybird-family-offer-25-adult-ladybirds-and-50-larvae) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
