Absolutely an excellent product. Works incredibly well in controlling my blood sugar. It's gone from over 7 to sometimes less that 6 and as low as 5.5.

Absolutely worked to lower my cholesterol! Before Berberine my total cholesterol was 236, just 30 days after starting this it dropped to 219!! WOW, no other changes in my diet. I had no adverse reactions to the pill.

Bought this, gave it the 2 months it recommendeds. Did not see significant weight difference, but I also did not change my life-style/diet. Stopped taking them, and let me tell you - they definitely have an effect on appetite! So, are they a "magical" pill that will solve weight issues - NO. Will they curb appetite and support weight loss if you make diet/life-style changes - YES. I have a very sensitive stomach. Taking these with breakfast in the morning did not upset my tummy.

Let me preface this review explaining why I rated it 4 stars. The suggested dosage is about 1000mg of Berberine in a single day. However, after a couple of weeks I got an unexpected surprise! My BP with medication is usually around 118/80, pretty normal. After taking the Berberine, a couple of weeks later, my BP went to 100/60, 90/50 and 85/60. I hadn’t changed my BP medication so I knew that wasn’t the cause. I performed expensive research from very reliable sites. The result was that Berberine is know to effect BP, and in some cases, can lower it to dangerous levels. Always nice to have a son who is a medical professional in the family. He agreed that some physicians actually prescribe it to patients that for one reason or another can’t tolerate standard BP meds. He stated that there should be a warning label indicator it can lower your BP to dangerous levels! My advice, try it. See if it lowers your blood pressure to too low a level. If it does, stop taking it and check your BP again and/or talk to your doctor and explain how this med reacted with you.
