You twist the bottom and then a bead of oil comes out on the top part of the pen which is a brush tip. You dab the oil on your cuticles then use the brush to rub it in over the nail and cuticle. There is also a ‘cuticle pusher’ on the lid of the pen, but it’s quite soft so doesn’t do much.
