I was worried that the product did not have a way to tell if the bulb was still working but they cleverly use translucent hose fitting, and you can see the light coming from the in and out ports. Not seeing uv directly, the translucent plastic blocks out uv but passes a cyan light in the visible spectrum that is essentially a waste product when the bulb is in use. Review: No replacement bulbs available - Went together fine. Mounted on a board. Light is supposed to last for "8000 hours" or something. Using it in a cold plunge. The small stainless 6w unit. Just cleaned it last week. Took the bulb out of the housing and it is maybe 1/2 lit now with blackish marks internally. Now I cannot see how or where to order a new bulb. So now what? Redo it with another?
