I've been using the Koh-I-Noor rapidographs for years, and they consistently clogged up after very little use. I finally tried out the Rotring Rapidograph, and what a difference! It's been several months since buying the pen, and it works like new. It never has clogged on me, and I especially like the cartridge system used, which means you don't have to deal with the messy refillable ink tubes that Koh-I-Noor has. I've purchased seven more Rotring pens with different pen sizes since then, and everyone of them works perfectly. The only drawback is that Rotrings are harder to obtain, and they're somewhat more expensive. Nonetheless, they are definitely worth it. This is a greatly superior product.

0.4 mm works more consistently than the 0.35

Extremely disappointed. The original product received had dried ink making it unusable. We requested an exchange only to have the replacement also arrive with dried ink. With no way to remove the dried ink, it would be better to offer this product with an empty cartridge.

Arrived with the ink cartridge filled with dried ink, which I know of no way to remove (nor should I have to) I really need this item for a work project, so I am returning this one and placing an order for another. Hope the next one arrives clean and new.

I purchased a Rotring Rapidograph several months ago, and love the way it writes. However, the threaded barrel that holds the pen has already cracked and split at the threads. I'm now writing with a pen that has to be held together with scotch tape!

J'ai commandé deux stylos Rapidograph, un avec une pointe en 0,8mm et l'autre en 1mm.Le 0,8mm est bien un Rapidograph, mais le 1mm est un Isograph donc sans cartouche, mais avec réservoir.Apparemment je ne suis pas le premier à recevoir un Isograph à la place d'un Rapidograph, donc renseignez-vous bien avant de passer commande.J'ai renvoyé le stylo 1mm contre un remboursement.Le 0,8mm est parfait donc je mets quand même 4 étoiles.

I have had a few of these pens for a while now and have not had any issues with them! they produce incredibly crisp lines and are relativley easy to maintain/clean! at first I wasn't sure about spending so much money on these pens but I am glad I have as they have probably saved me money in the long run, as you can pick up refills quite cheaply!A must have for any illustrator or artist wanting a high quality pen!

La Rolls pour les dessinateurs. Attention pour ceux qui utilisent pour la première fois un Rapidograph cherchez sur YouTube pour apprendre comment utiliser les cartouches et mettre en place la pointe ce n'est pas évident et l'on risque d'abîmer d'emblée la pointe lorsqu'elle est fine.

Le stylo fuit de temps en temps mais il est très agréable à utiliser. Le debut d'encre est parfait autrement.
