Yes but will prefer liquid method next time
Not a fan of the smell but I understand this is potentially because it is an isolated product. I find it a little hard to use personally, but will definitely invest in the liquid oil next time. I mix it up with Jojoba oil and put the applicator in hot water to melt it . Nice though

Lightweight Hair
The butter isn't as moisturising, therefore not greasy when applied. It makes my coily hair slightly crunchy, shiny, bouncy with volume, and lasts for 3 days. Does wonders for damp skin after a shower.

Excellent hair balm
Very soft on your hair and not super oily. Washes out easily as well. The smell is nice also. Leaves your hair thick after use. Easy to apply and doesn't leave your hands greasy after applying

THIS IS A WONDERFUL TREATMENT LEAVE IN CONDITIONER. IT IS VERY STIFF THOUGH
WHEN YOU PURCHASE THIS REMEMBER THAT IT IS RATHER STIFF INCONSISTENCY. YOU SHOULD MIX WITH A OIL (OLIVE, COCONUT OIL, SPEARMINT, ROSEMARY MINT OIL, ETC.). KEEP IN HAIR FOR ABOUT 1-2 WEEKS BEFORE WASHING OUT. DO NOT OVERDO THE AMOUNT IN YOUR HAIR. WASH AND CONDITION AS USUAL. YOU SHOULD SEE AND FEEL A SOFTER TEXTURE AND MANAGEABILITY.

Not what was expected
Not a creamy texture. Smell is not pleasant.

Hard, bit of a smell, but so far works well
So the package box had a "tamper seal" on the top side, which was never sealed in the first place, only folded downward to adhere to the box flap; it did not extend across to seal this gap. In addition, if even this had been sealed properly, there is no such seal on the bottom side. Hopefully no ne'er-do-wells got their hands on my butter. I wouldn't say the aroma of the butter is pleasant. Fortunately it is faint though. It smells like old butter, so I'm hoping that is what this product is supposed to smell like and not a sign of rancidity. The butter has the texture of Texas clay in the summertime. I had to really press my finger hard to push a bit of the butter up in order to scoop out a piece. The butter tends to come up in flakes, though once you press it to your skin it melts pretty readily. I read that batana butter is nourishing for skin, scalp, and hair, so I rubbed some into my scalp as well as my upper arms. I also read that it can clog pores if used too often, so I only intend on using this once every other day or so, and I plan on staying away from my face with it. So far the areas that I applied it to seem like they are at least soft and hydrated. I have not noticed any detrimental effects. Based on my use so far, I recommend it with 4/5 due to the smell. You might wanna keep this in the fridge since it is a butter and carries the risk of going rancid.
