Tangle Teezer The Ultimate Detangler Chrome Hairbrush

This brush is absolutely A M A Z I N G !!!! Just wish I’d bought one years ago for my tight curly 3c hair. It runs through my hair pretty much effortlessly. I couldn’t get over it quite honestly, because the bristles are quite close together and I didn’t think there would be a chance it would go through my hair, but how wrong was I. I’ve never detangled my hair so quickly and effortlessly. I bought this after watching UK Curly Girl Sophie Marie on YouTube. She was saying how brilliant they were, and thought I’d go for it. I was previously using a handless Tangle Teezer for curly hair but that’ll be redundant for sure now. I could never get a good grip on that thing as it doesn’t have a handle. This one from Amazon was a genuine brush, in its clear packaging with the trademark and logos and a holographic seal sticker, and had the name on the handle. The pale pink one was on offer when I bought it at £8.53, so I thought that was a bargain. So massively impressed with this brush. Another good thing you can do with it is define your curls. It’s a method curly girls are using which is fantastic and works really well. When washed and still quite wet, load the products yo7 want to style your curls with (curl cream, serum, gels etc) then do ribbon curl setting by brushing small sections of your hair with this brush. As the hair strands reach the base of the brush, give the hair strands a shake and you end up with a ribboned hair separating effect. Do this all over then air dry or diffuse dry. Gives a fabulous effect to define curls. This brush is brilliant for this…. Has a good large sturdy handle. This brush feels good quality, solid, and doesn’t bend when going through your hair. The bristles are nice and stiff and feels lush when brushing over your scalp…..it’s like a massaging effect….lovely. I’m a very curly girl and this is a 10/10 from me.

Great hairbrush. The handle makes it easier to use than other more compact tangle teasers used in the past. Tackles all the knots in my daughter's long, thick, hair with ease. She loves the colour, and I like how easy it has made brushing her hair. A great product.

I love this brush! My 6yo Daughter has sensory issues which make hair brushing very difficult for her (and me). I’ve bought many a brush in an attempt to make this easier for her. I bought this brush to try along with the Tangle Teezer Detangle Spray for kids as I saw some reviews for them together on here. I was a bit sceptical but it’s like I’ve found the dream team for her hair. Before these she would scream the place down at light brushing of her hair and would become quickly dysregulated. Now she actually sits and lets me brush her hair and sometimes actually enjoys it. 🤯 I let her use them on my hair first and I found it actually quite relaxing. You don't need to pull it hard through the hair, just glide it through and it works its magic. I think this is why she finds it so much easier as it doesn’t pull on her hair at all. Of course if there’s a very tangled part I have to take care but it still works well if you hold onto the top if the hair & slowly glide the brush through the tatted hair. I spray extra spray on these parts and it melts the tangle away. The sound it makes when brushing the hair is quite harsh so if buying this to try to ease sensory issues and there are any other sensory issues present that’s something to be aware of but because it sounds worse than it actually is, Ear plugs or the distraction may also be needed due to this. I like that it has a handle as many Detangle brushes don’t have them which helps to handle it better. It’s very light to hold too. The bristles are very soft too. So does not scratch on the skin or scalp. My daughter and I have very thick hair and it works on that no problem. Of course when you come across significant tats or knots you have to slow down the brushing but it handles them very well. I was concerned about the price but now I’ve tried it I think its worth the amount. Hopefully it will not break or become defective quickly or that opinion may change. It looks and feels pretty sturdy though. I would say this would be a great option for sensory issues and all round for kids and even grown ups. I use it on my hair too. It seems to make hair less frizzy after brushing than standard brushes do. I am very impressed with it. The spray: if you get that too… smells very nice. Not too strong a smell so not overpowering for sensitive noses, works especially well with the brush when the hair is wet. I’ve noticed you only need spray a little when it’s dry.

Works well to remove tangles from your hair. The brush has long and sort bristles that catch the cotts and untangle them. I have long thick hair (down to my bum) prone to cotts. I have used this brush on wet and dry hair to remove these cotts and it works well, very little hair is broken. Previously I used a normal brush and it would take half an hour to get all the cotts out and was a very painful experience. With this brush however within 5 minutes the cotts are gone! The brush is very light weight. The only cons are these: its not a substitute for a normal brush, it's a cott removing tool only and should be followed with a normal brush. And secondly the bristles are very thin and bendy and after a while you ll find that some will be quite bent and the brush will need replacing. But even having said that I still think these brushes are amazing and good value for money.

The tangle teezer ultimate is great as a day to day brush. It's soft to use on my hair. Its anti frizz so I end.up with much flatter hair than when I use a roller brush. Wet hair is great it glides through the knots with ease and no pain. It's a fab size for everyday use and there is a smaller version which I'm going to get for trips away. It's easy to hold with a nice chunky handle. Well worth the money.

If you look back on my reviews, you'll see that I previously said that the Wet Brush was the best brush in the world. And it was. At the time. I lighten my hair, and for the first week after each treatment, my hair is a little more prone to tangling than normal, and during this time, the Tangle Teezer is the thing that can cut through the snarls with zero pulling and no pain. (Don't get me wrong, I still love and use the Wet Brush.) I have owned Tangle Teezers without handles before and thought they were ok, but a little inconvenient to use. Trying this brush has converted me though - the added handle makes it is much easier to hold! It brushes so easily through wet, dry, and conditioner-saturated hair, tackling any tangles in my (slightly fried and frequently knotty!) bleached hair with very little resistance. The lack of pulling means less hair breakage too, helping improve how my hair looks and feels. Both my partner (short, fine hair) and I (long, thick hair) really love this brush. So much so that - when he was away for a couple of days recently - we joked about playing rock-paper-scissors for who would have the 'good' brush! Two different lengths of hair, two different thicknesses - but a perfect tool for both of us! It is really easy to clean too. The fact that it is a hard plastic makes it super easy to remove any hair and then wash the 'base' under the bristles. A quick heads-up though, as I think it can be easy to miss on the listing - you cannot use this brush with any heat styling, or your hair dryer will melt, bend, and deform the bristles! That all said, I think this is a really good brush for a good price. Though I will admit that, for the cost, I do wish it was blow-dryer safe (but not enough to risk ignoring the instructions and breaking it!)

I love this brush so much! I won’t use any other now! My hair is thick and long and the brush handles it well, doesn’t hurt when using it, which is a must when my daughter borrows it as her hair is very fine! Would suit all hair types! It is very well made, has lasted me years now with no issues! The colour on the brush is lovely and has lasted. Defiantly recommend this brush.

Die Tangle Teezer Ultimate Detangler Haarbürste hat mich positiv überrascht. Sie gleitet sehr sanft durch nasses und trockenes Haar und entwirrt Knoten deutlich schonender als herkömmliche Bürsten. Besonders bei nassem Haar merkt man den Unterschied: Kein Ziepen, kein Reißen – das Haar lässt sich leicht durchkämmen, ohne unnötige Belastung. Auch bei längerem oder leicht verknotetem Haar funktioniert sie sehr gut. Der Griff liegt angenehm in der Hand und die Bürste wirkt insgesamt gut verarbeitet. Für die tägliche Haarpflege ist sie wirklich praktisch und zeitsparend. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Haarbürste, besonders für empfindliches oder langes Haar. Ich bin zufrieden und würde sie wieder kaufen.

This is the best brush I've ever used for my 4C hair. Love that it has a handle. I had the original Tangle Teezer and wasn't too fond of it especially since it kept slipping out of my hand. This one has longer "teeth" and I am amazed that it almost glides through my hair. It takes me less time to detangle my hair and it stays detangled longer. There's also less shedding and breakage. It never ceases to amaze me how much less hair there is in the brush. Love the curl definition it gives me too! I think I need to order another one to travel with.

La verdad es de los mejores cepillos que eh tenido sin exagerar, yo tengo el cabello muy largo y grueso y se enreda mucho, anteriormente tenía uno que muy bueno de madera y me arrancaba muchísimo cabello de los jalones, compré este esperando aún que sea menor resultado que el otro pero para mi sorpresa ni me jala el cabello ni me arranca cabello! Me encantó ❤️
