Ford GT40: The Autobiography of 1075 (Great Cars) Review: Another great book in this series. Highly recommended. - I have several of the other books in this series, and this is up there with the best of them. Meticulously researched with lots of great images, this follows the life of the two-time Le Mans winning GT40. It does not cover much of the early story of the lengthy and confused development of the Ford GT40, for this try "Go like hell" by A J Baime, but it goes into detail of the successful subsequent development by John Wyer's JW Engineering. Highly recommended. Review: A 'Must Have' for Fort GT fans - One of those rare 'picture books' where the writing is as good as the photos. I like the concept of making it the biography of a particular car and what better subject than a two time Le Mans winner. The capsule bios of the drivers of the car was a nice touch as well. I'll be looking to get more of these.

Great book. I own almost all the books on the GT-40 and find this one of the best. Well written and complete. There are some new photos that I haven't seen before.

No one does this like the English
Very well researched and very well written. No one does this like the English. They also build good race cars.

Loved this book
Loved this book. I thought I had seen all there Eastbourne Ford GT40, but this book was one of the best FATHER'S DAY gifts I have received. Really liked the stories about 1075 and the drivers that raced it.
