Calphalon® Premier Ceramic Nonstick 8" and 10" Frying Pan Set, Mushroom Grey

I had a set of Calphalon pans that were great until they weren't. So I decided to order another set of Calphalon because I was highly impressed with the first set that lasted around 6 years. I know they have a lifetime warranty but I did not feel like going through the hassle of a warranty claim and returning. I ordered these premier ceramic nonstick and I am thoroughly impressed. The coating is much better than the standard Calphalon and it appears to be a much more robust and durable ceramic coating. I have used the egg pan to make the perfect eggs and the larger frying pan a few times and nothing sticks and it's super easy to clean. I like being able to transition from stovetop to oven in a Flash without having to worry about anything melting. Calphalon makes a great product with a great warranty if you use it. I would highly recommend

Purchased this pan set 4 months ago and use several times a week. I have one Calphalon pan that I have used for 15 years and loved it. That is what led me to purchase this set. This set is just as wonderful and I expect will last me a life time. I have had no problems with food sticking or the coating coming off. I have noticed that I need to reduce the heat with these pans from what I was accustom. These pans hold and distribute the heat very well. I still only use silicone or wood implements when cooking with them. Clean up is very easy. I am very happy with my purchase.

The.best.pans.ever! You just have to remember not to cook anything higher than about 50% heat when using these pans. You don't need to anyway. They cook very well and evenly at lower heats. We easily wipe everything off the pan with a paper towel after cooking, and then it's super easy to wash them. We had one or two of the non-premier ones first, the premier ones are way better. We've had some of these for almost two years and they still look new! Highly recommend.

Lasted only around a year before coating was toast. Eggs would always stick regardless of adding oil or butter. Tossed the 8in one 1 year into ownership and ready to do the same for the other at 1 year 3 months. Their hard anodized pans have lasted us over 3 years so far and would suggest those over these (still have them and they work great). I thought the ceramic might be nice to have as a backup, currently looking for new pans and will probably stay away from calphalon pans in the future.

I think t he quality of the pan is great. I've not had them for long, so I can't talk about what they'll be like in a few years, but they're very non-stick (as most pans like this are), and they're quite heavy-duty without being overly heavy. That said, if you're used to the $12 pan from the dollar store, these will likely be heavier than those. My issue with these pans is that they're fairly tall and the sides are very straight and vertical. Pans like these that I've had in the past had more of an 'S' shape to the sides, with them bending back outwards as they get near the lip. This makes it very easy to plate fried eggs, or omelets without the need for a spatula. I just tip the pan up some and the eggs slide out. With these pans, you almost *have* to have a spatula to get them out. If you just try tipping the pan far enough, the eggs will collapse on themselves.

TERRIBLE. THE 10 INCH PAN IS NOT NON STICK, EVERYTHING STICKS TO IT AND ITS HARD TO CLEAN, THEIR RETURN POLICY IS TWO MONTHS, I’M AT THREE MONTHS SO I AM STUCK WITH IT, THEY ALSO REQUIRE YOU PAY ALL SHIPPING CHARGES, HAVE BOUGHT QUITE A BIT OF CALPHALON, WON’T BUY ANY MORE, DO NOT BUY.

Fantastic for frying eggs Top Quality

So good, I’ve bought them as housewarming gifts. If you treat them with respect, they will hold up for a long time. I don’t use metal scrubbers or utensils on them, although the manufacturer says you can. The usually clean out easily with dish soap and a sponge like Scrub Daddy. For very dirty pans, I’ve used Pink Stuff with great results. I’m very satisfied with these pans.
