Organic Valerian Root Tea (4oz.) - Te De Valeriana - Sleep, Stress Response

It has a crazy strong smell, almost like vinegar, but it works well in my nighttime tea to help me relax and sleep.

Valerian tea has a strong smell and its flavour is not bad, the important thing is that it fulfils its benefit, relaxes and sleeps better. I highly recommend this tea.

This works! I mean like magic. One cup of this stuff and you'll be out asleep and deep sleep...the kind that permit dreams to occur. One very important detail.. the stentch on this herb is strong! Boy oh boy! It smells like poop...like mulch. I recommend honey to take care of the smell, helps the taste too.

I got this Organic Valerian Root Tea as a sleep aid. I've been using it for about a week now and it does seem to work well. I'm falling asleep easier and staying asleep longer. My only complaint is the smell. It smells like compost. My wife is not that generous in her assessment of the smell and uses words best not put in print. The taste is not great but better than the smell. One could add sweetener of some sort but I'm pre-diabetic so that's not a good option for me. I'll keep using it because it does work well but get yourself a smell-proof jar of some sort.

My partner wanted a tea blend for relaxation. Since I had a ton of the other ingredients, I bought a little bit of this to make myself a sleep blend. Didn't think it would work, but I feel very tired soon after having a cup around bed. I don't even end up using that much valerian itself since, as I said, it's in a blend I threw together.

This herb flat out STINKS UP THE WHOLE HOUSE. IT TRUELY SMELLS, old nasty feet, poop, decaying animal. I've triple freezer zip bagged it and ended up having to just throw it away. It works if you can drink it without gagging.

Work well. It is stupid to write bad reviews about a strange smell. This is not a mint. I tried chamomile and lavender. But this thing is really works.
