It wouldn't grip the slots. So I got a 3 prong wrench. Still wouldn't open.. I asked a question here. Found out the back was snap-on. Got a case pry tool. No slot on back though. Another question revealed a youtube video showing how to remove back. Case back would not budge. So I got a snap back case removal tool. Not the pry tool but one with a vise and built in pry bar on an hinge. That worked first time. I scratched the hell out of the back before this. Put in new battery and I'm back in business. By the way, when the back is open, you have to remove a screw to replace the battery. I still love this watch. August 2024 - Still running great. Still on the 2nd battery, but I expect to replace it any day. But I still remember how to change it.
