I purchased the 13" version. I had no problems with the stability of the skewer although I could see if someone were manhandling it, it might be a problem. The unit worked perfectly for tacos al pastor fitting neatly inside of my smoker. 3 hours at 275 and it was cooked through. My family loved the tacos. The pan below was just just the right size, collected all of the drippings and cleaned up like new. I like to make tacos for groups of friends and am contemplating purchasing another. If you don't have one you should get one.

This was surprisingly a great buy. I was expecting the plated to turn black after cooking the meat for so many hours in the grill and to my surprise after an easy cleaning with dawn soap and scratch free sponge the plate looked brand new. Brand spickin new! So quality of material is 100% recomendable. The only issue I had after the first use is that the piece that you screw the skewer to came off. So now it no longer can be used to skew food but I can still use as a heating or cooking regular plate. That middle piece should be maybe worked on so it does not fall off after high heat. Just what I needed for making Tacos al Pastor. 3 lengths of skewers were nice, nice to be able to adjust to fit different cookers. Once I got it stacked high with slices of pork, pineapple and onion, it was still very stable. The pan does a great job of collecting the juices/drippings, which was handy since I wanted to spoon them back over the meat during cooking. This really let me turn out the perfect Tacos al Pastor. I trimmed the food it off a little at a time while it was still on the skewer, just like the real thing. Cleaned very easy as well. I definitely recommend this for anyone that enjoys grilling/smokering.

Only used once but it was amazing. I will use it more often as we get into the summer months. Fit my weber grill. Worked as advertised. Easy to assemble.

Easy to use and makes good chicken

If you are a Shawarma fan, I highly recommend this easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning everything you need to make a juicy tasty Shawarma. I purchased Shawarma spices from Amazon as well.

worked well one time used but then broke with the nut shearing off that holds the spit on. Now not usable. Recommend doing what i saw on Insta with covering it in foil to make for really easy clean up.

I bought two of these to cook for a crowd. One spindle snapped off right up front. The other at the end of cooking. So one use only. Concept worked well, but cheaply made. Disappointing.
