The "bumpers" on the side actually give me a little more piece of mind. My tall 5yr old daughter loves sitting in it and mentioned how comfy she was. My downsides are....Innertubes are not brilliant, mine actually burst while riding and we discovered how bad they were but it was a quick fix (they weren't over inflated). The hole in the attachment for my bike was too small so I had to make it larger by filing it.Unfortunately one of the parts were damaged on delivery but I cannot fault the seller at all!
