I purchased the Yottamaster Y7000Pro 1TB SSD M.2 PCIe 4.0 to enhance my PC’s performance, and it has been an excellent decision. From the start, installation was easy and quick. I noticed a significant improvement in boot times and app loading right away. What impressed me most is its read and write speeds, reaching up to 7000MB/s. This makes for a super smooth experience, especially when handling large files or playing demanding games. Another big plus is its compatibility with the PS5. I expanded my console’s storage without a hitch and now have more space for games without worrying about running out. The 3D QLC NAND Flash technology ensures durability and power efficiency, which is key for keeping the system running smoothly during long sessions. All in all, the Yottamaster Y7000Pro delivers the perfect mix of speed, capacity, and reliability. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance storage upgrade.

Picked up the 2TB version of this drive, Y700 Pro, for my gaming PC. It's excellent so far. While I haven't done any side-by-side testing, it seems to be at least as fast as my WD Black SN770 (gen 4). The package includes everything you need to install this in a PC or PS5 (of course, any tools needed to open up the PC case are not included). It includes a snap-on aluminum heatsink, with 2 thermal pads (Sony recommends a drive with heatsinks in their official installation YouTube video). It also includes a mounting screw, AND a surprisingly decent screwdriver. The screwdriver is long enough that I was able to easily tighten the screw without removing any adjacent components (CPU cooler, GPU). The drive I received was not formatted to any file system. It simply contained appx 1908 GB of unallocated space. For Windows 10 & 11, and PS5, this should NOT be an issue. For Win10/11, you can simply open Disk Management, where you can format and partition the drive into multiple smaller drives, or simply format the drive to a single ~2TB NTFS drive. For PS5, I believe the console will automatically prompt you to format the drive to a filesystem it can use. I have NOT tried this drive in a PS5, I'm just trying to provide some info in case anyone is considering this drive for that purpose. If you're shopping for drives, you probably already know what you need to know. In any case, their official YT video, "M.2 SSD Installation for PS5 Console" gives you a pretty good audio/visual walkthrough of the process. I recommend looking it up.

The drive is solid .. and I quickly filled it with my gaming library 800GB free of the 4TB now my concern is .. there is no official software to support the drive and i love native support from the compay. the sustainable writing is 200MB per second when files are large .. (after researching .. no complain here) my recommendation .. get two of this drive and RAID 0 them so you can get 8TB of fast writable storage and blazingly enormous reading speed. Attached are speeds of the drive before and after filling it. my PC is 12700K with 128GB of DDR4 3200 memory.

Installed in my PS5. Installation was pretty easy. If you are installing it in a PS5 add both thermal pads and only the top cover the bottom metal cover can't be added due to limited space. Transfer speed was awesome took 15 mins to transfer 430gb. Load times are faster games than use to take about a minute to load now load in 10 seconds or less. Great price as well for the massive space of 2tb.
