Keeps an edge. Nice balance. Not dishwasher safe. I keep mine coated in cooking oil. I haven’t had any issues.

Seems sharp and of reasonable quality for the price, BUT realize that the price reflects the quality. In the photo- see the gaps between the blade and bolsters? That where blood and bits of cut food will collect if you’re not diligent in cleaning after use.
