Great value and functionality. Note limit is ~2,000 lbs. Classic "S" type electronic strain gauge. Legible LCD display. Unit is *NOT* waterproof but could be made so with appropriate application of silicon sealer to both main case seams and battery door - so don't leave it outdoors in the rain/moisture. Chose not to buy similar units with wireless, another thing to lose of fail electronically, and yet another battery to replace (unit and controller). Nod toward reliability and some convenience loss.

Remote is basically useless. A bunch of buttons with no idea of what they do. Power is pretty obvious but wont power on - just power off. zero button seems to zero, T button is probably "tare" but could not get that to work. Lock button probably locks. I have no idea what the "ACC" button does or "DEL" button. F1 seems to switch to different mode. F2 just causes the display to start blinking. Returning unit. Will not buy again from this seller. It takes nothing to put manuals on the web but I guess they have to be translated.

This scale came is great packaging and is easy to use. After weighing several things with known weights I believe it to be pretty accurate. I really like that the digital readout is black on gray as I've found scales with the red on black digital readouts are not legible in sunlight and this scale works perfectly outdoors. The only downside of the scale is that it doesn't have an automatic hold or remote control to operate it from the ground. I use the scale to weigh large round hay bales and once I have the bale in the air (most are 6' tall) I have to stand in the back of a truck to read and record the weight and the Hold button is impossible for me to use in this setting.

I've only used it once, but out of the box it worked great and I used it to weigh a 360 lbs pallet for shipping. I'll give another review after I've had it a while. I've had it for a week and weighed items up to 900 lbs. Has been working great so far.

Works as expected. Good quality. I use it only now and then.

I need this for the peak reading

I've only used it one day but it's very sturdy and gives a quick reading. It balances out the bobbing weight extremely quickly. I haven't pushed it's limits though. I was weighing 300-500 kilo harvest bins. For the price, it's quite impressive. I paired it with about 100 bucks in steel bars, chains, and welding electrodes to make an extremely cheap harvest scale. Hoisting my bins for weight rather than placing them on a scale saved me about 2 grand for about an hour of one-time setup, and about 2 minutes extra work per bin. With less than 20,000 lbs of harvest, this scale is a no-brainer. The vast majority of the setup is the chains. The scale itself figures out the bobble in the weight much faster than I expected.

Great item that we will be using a lot. We only require it for rough measurements of weight where we use it right now but would not rely on it for commercial accuracy. Happy with the features and delivery. Would buy again. We just might have to when we expand. Saves so much time now that we can get our wieghts when handeling the materials in transition instead of making an extra trip to the commercial scale.
