There are genetically 2 types of people in the world - those who find beets sweet and those who find that beets taste like dirt. If you are someone who genetically cannot enjoy the taste of a beet, do not order this. There is only a very tiny hint of beet taste, but I think it would be enough to put someone off who can't stand beets. I would actually much prefer this product to be less colorful. It does feel a little like drinking bright orange koolaid.
