I don’t do anyone else’s nails, so the fan only gets used once a week. Despite not doing nails as an occupation, I have a full nail station set up just like a salon. My nail table has a built-in nail dust fan that doesn’t come close to the results of the MelodySusie nail dust fan! I used the one built into my nail table one time and never again. This nail fan has three speeds and is reasonably quiet. Considerably more quiet than the one built into my table. Even though this fan sits on top of the table, it doesn’t take up much room. It is very lightweight and easy to move around to keep it out of my way. I believe they have replacement filters available but because I use it only for home use, I simply put a facial tissue over the top and throw it away after each use. I’ve been using it for over six months now and it still looks brand new and works as well as it did on the first day. I don’t know how it would hold up to professional use but for a DIY-er only doing my own nails, it is perfect! The price was right in line with several competitors that had unfavorable reviews.
