Works as described. The same one used by many physical therapists. I broke some fingers and used the yellow one after surgery. And as my hand/ fingers got stronger, I moved up to the red. Works as is intended.

EXERCISING WHILE WATCHING TV
I found this device helpful in restoring grip strength in my fingers .I use it while watching TV.

Very flimsy product
One of the rubber seams between the holes was broken when I opened it. Then the first time I used it three more broke. Very flimsy and cheap. I'm returning it for a refund.
