Review: Small but effective - These work excellent for small to medium rooms I run them once a week (we do smoke) it clears the odors freshens our bedrooms, be aware you do need to ventilate afterward and if you do not like the smell of ozone (smells like the sunshine used to years ago!) it dissipates quickly.
Review: It works!! It removes bad smells!! - This Ozone generator works at removing bad smells!! We have a wine cellar that had a permanent "perfume" like smell which was very off putting. We are not the original homeowners so we could not figure out where the smell was coming from, and it would not go away even after leaving the cellar door open for days. We got this ozone generator and left it running at the smaller setting for about 2 weeks. The smell is now gone for good!!!

**Q: Does this remove mold or just the mold smell?**
A: Thanks for your question. Yes, ozone can kill mold and remove the smell. However, the max ozone output of B50 is only 50mg/h, which means it will take much longer to kill them. Please clean up the surface with mold first, then close doors and windows and run the unit. If you have a really severe mold problem in your house, we would recommend a commercial model MA5000 or MA10K-PRO. Hope this will help. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

**Q: Does this produce negative ions**
A: This produces ozone which is different from negative ions. You can stay in a room with a device that produces negative ions; whereas,. you cannot stay in a room with one that generates ozone (O3). This particular unit generates a lot of ozone for its size and price. I used it to finally clear out the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in a used car I bought 18 months ago.

**Q: How long until you can re-enter a room after running?**
A: Please do not leave this unit running all the time. There are OSHA limits for exposure to ozone, as little as 0.3 ppm. Please listen to the other comment and open the windows and wait 30 min before coming back to the room, especially if you have ever had respiratory problems/asthma/etc.

**Q: Is there any way to turn off the blue light and still have the ozone output?**
A: I'm afraid no. The blue light is the power indicator and will be on once you run the machine.

This Ozone generator works at removing bad smells!! We have a wine cellar that had a permanent "perfume" like smell which was very off putting. I purchased two of these and they are able to pump out tons of O3. I have had one set up on a timer to give my basement an occasional spritz. It freshens up the entire floor. I wouldn't recommend it for constant use. It generates far too much ozone. It probably wouldn't be healthy. It is amazing for occasional use, though. It would work great to deodorize a room. Even a large one. I did have one unit burn out after a few months. I think moisture got to it and the dielectric broke down. It was just sending an arc right through rather then generating a corona.
