LXB6 Roof Rack, Black, 2 Bike Carrier

I didn’t want a permanent fixed roof rack or a bulky rail set to store or affect us using the panoramic roof on our car. So I opted for this compact version. Great bit of kit, cycling mates were very dismissive as they’ve gone all out with expensive racks etc. Always like something a bit different so bought it anyway to prove a point and they are impressed! Just a heads up if you are going to attach a mountain bike with 15mm forks buy the separate 20mm Rassine fork mount to replace the 9mm sent with it. My sons 24inch bike sits on the 9mm perfectly. Takes about 5 mins to mount to car with bikes etc. So well worth the effort when you look at the saving of money and storage space.

I have a hard top convertible 4 series so almost no options for racks or car space for a bike. This has left no marks on my paint and my first use was a 110 mile trip on the motorway. Not one of the 4 suction cups let off whatsoever. I put the front wheel in my boot so if you get this it may be worth getting a wheel bag in case it’s dirty

Great bit of kit, drove 2 trips of 300 miles without an issue. I would recommend putting further back on the roof as this seemed to stop all wind noise. We drove between 65-70mph the entire time and it was well stuck down.

Bag on, dont doubt it.

So far no problems. Just getting used to the idea (very hard with 3K on your roof in bikes 🤣)
