Strong and stable - but both desks I ordered had evidence of damage.
I bought two desks - this 1400mm and also the 1600mm model. Assembly is straightforward and can be done singlehandedly - but using two people would make the process faster and easier. An allen key, bent into an 'S' shape to improve usefulness, is provided. However, if you have a low-speed drill and suitable hex key, this will make attaching legs and backboard a LOT easier. When assembled, the desk is stable and strong.BUT THERE IS A POTENTIAL NEGATIVE ------ BOTH desks that I bought were damaged on their front edges. Fortunately, both areas were on the underside rather than on the upper, working surface. One area of damage had clearly been filled before despatch. The other had been left. (See attached photos). I was clearly lucky that the top surfaces were OK but having brought two desks and having found damage on both, I would NOT risk buying a third one).Buying these desks could be a bit of a lottery - hopefully you'll be lucky. I wasn't but at least my desks are usable and the damage could be hidden.I will post this review for both desks.
