Nobody likes peeping neighbours. Unfortunately we have them on all sides observing what is happening at our place. I can somewhat understand as our lives can be quite a spectacle. Calling it eccentric or outrageous wouldn’t do it justice. Unfortunately this invites neighbours to crawl up to the windows to peek in with their curious little eyes often from a corner, leaving nose sprints and/or saliva on the glass. Quite shameful frankly.This pulldown blind has brought this to an end.The blind is easy to install. Yet it requires you to drill a couple of holes on top of your window frame to but the supplied hooks in place. The blind then operates in a straight forward manner. Just keep in mind in that it doesn’t roll up; it kind of folds up so it takes some light out on the top. Also as it is a blind, it doesn’t darken your room.We selected the darkest colour expecting it to be dark grey or black. But it is dark brown giving a slightly colonial/tropical touch to your room, which is just what we needed.So it’s a decent product. Don’t expect anything fancy. I wouldn’t comment too much on the quality given the price but its obviously not the most expense design and manufacturing. And consequently it may not be too durable, depending on your useThe neighbours still try to peep in but the constant observations are over and we have much more privacy now.

This is a top quality product, made in Germany and delivered from Germany within four days of ordering. The packaging it arrived in already said this is a quality product. We're using it as an easy to suspend/remove/open/close privacy screen between our house and our neighbour's house. If the weather forecast looks poor, we can take it down in less than a minute. Another minute puts it back up.The screen is effectively opaque from a see-through perspective but probably wouldn't work as a serious blind to make a room dark. It was dead easy to install - once we'd measured out and installed the fixtures where it would be hanging, unrolling and hitching the screen itself was simple. The screen is very lightweight so can hang from just about anything. It sways in a breeze but there's sufficient weight at the bottom to keep it under control.Bottom line: top quality build, simple good looks and a great price.

When the item arrived I needed to shorten it to fit the window opening. On the back of the blind are a series of steel rings that the two strings run thru. These rings pass under the stitching of the individual slats. None of these rings were fully under the stitching, so one fell off immediately. I had to move two of these rings to the new bottom of the blind. It was impossible to re-attach these rings to their new position and in doing so the stitching snapped and started to unravel from the whole blind. Unless you have a window opening that is exactly the same dimensions as the blind, forget this one, you will not be able to shorten it.

As you can see the blinds were installed in a conservatory to block the sun and to provide privacy. Easy to raise and lower and look great.

I have these blinds up just in front of the blackout blinds I have, so they can be down on sunny days as my living room can get a lot of sun. Very lightweight so I was a bit worried about there durability -so far so good. The hooks on the top are on display which is a shame, but they still look pretty fab

We bought this for our porch windows and whilst it's been great and stopped a lot of the heat, the pulley cords have perished in the heat and snapped, so blinds have to be kept at full length all of the time. Apart from that we are happy with them. If the company who produce these are reading this, it would be ideal to find a stronger cord that can withstand heat coming through glass.

I bought this to add something to my large boring kitchen window, it was really easy to put up, looks lovely and made a huge difference to my window. Easy to use once installed.
