I had to do some research. Apparently the 3oz and 6oz are BPA free, the rest have "minimal amounts of BPA" and no I don't know what "minimal amounts" are. This seems to be the norm for most. Go to "Truth about Pet Food.com" for a fairly comprehensive list. **Q: The last three orders have been mushy. Are they being placed in a heated room? They are supposed to be thick enough to cut; aren't they?** A: Some cans are mushy, some are very solid, some are in between. I prefer the mushier side to hide my dogs skew of meds/pills in vs the really hard cans. Remember, it’s vegetarian and the ingredients need to be sourced year round which means the ratios will vary vs using a meat option (where the meat is available year round). The differing consistency doesn’t mean it’s “bad” or “rotten”. As long as it smells fine, consistency is moot with vegetarian formulas regardless of brand.
