Very cool!
In the beginning the coil was out of place so it didnt do anything (maybe more people who say it doesn't so anything have that problem) but after I, with some patience, fixed that the Lamp is really cool!

Great idea and Conversation starter
This is a fantastic idea and a very nice lava lamp plus a great conversation starter. I bought a lava lamp awhile ago and not long after buying it the light blew but went around and couldn't find a replacement for it so I stumbled upon this lamp that is powered by candle and thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. It's very small in size compared to a big lava lamp but makes up for it with how fast it starts and how long it lasts. It lasts as long as the candle you buy for it which I get 8 hour candles. Depending on the temperature in the air it can start in and hour or so but if it's cold it could take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to get going but once it's going it's great. The colour it illuminates is very vibrant aswell. Compared to a electric lava lamp which gets very hot and recommend only using for a few hours a day otherwise the light could blow or the cables get hot with a candle lamp there's no need to worry about turning it off as when the candle finishes it slowly stops and all you've got to do is change the candle and re-light it whenever you want. You can buy packs of 8 hour candles online or in shops for a decent price. Extremely recommend
