We bought this over a year ago. We used it for our wedding. Then for a outdoor birthday party this January. It kept the water hot enough to do Ramen noodles for a kpop themed party in 30-40° Beach front weather. It doesnt leak on travel. We keep it upright. Its thin for storage and travel. Grwat price. Lid closes tight.

It the best Coffee Carafe for keeping your Coffee hot I have ever owned. The construction is topnotch and worth the price. I prefer the button type of pump over the lever ones as people will hit the lever and break it over the button they have to push on. Easy to clean and take apart and put back together. I ran my own test and filled it up with hot coffee without worming up the Carafe with hot water. I stayed hot for 24 hours. I will tell you that it loses heat faster as the level of the coffee in it goes down. So using it all day will still leave you with a very drinkable cup of coffee.

So cheaply made that two arrived broken in the packaging. I purchased them for our small nonprofit for occasional events. I didn't open the boxes in time to get a refund but when we did on Easter morning, two of the four had broken latches that hold the pots closed. The packaging and the shipping package were in perfect condition so we had no reason to suspect they would be broken, however, they are so poorly made that I imagine the other two won't last long. We duct taped them closed while in use and made due, but I would recommend spending a little more and getting a better product.

Right out if the box, my lid would not stay latched. It wasn't broken. It's just a poor design. To make it work, I had to rig the latch mechanism. I used a cable tie to get it to open a little wider. Carefully take the lid apart and install the plastic cable tie in the middle of the "spring", which will pull the 2 latches open wider. Before putting the lid back together, check the dry fit between the "rigged" latch spring and the stationary keepers where they will click in. I hope it holds for a while. I will update this post if or when it fails.

Overall this Airport is good. I bought 3 of these for our holiday hot chocolate bar and will use again for our outdoor ice skating event. The Good: It kept the 2 hot chocolates and 1 hot milk HOT all day. Practically burned my hand when pouring out. Easy to clean. Easy to carry. The Bad: The lid does not lock. You know that nice and needed feature that locks the lid. Nope not even close. I lock it and it just pops open again. I would have loved to have that lock feature when traveling with the dispenser. The Ugly: Why do you need a lock that works on the lid? It is not a good situation when the Airpot tips over and over a 1/2 gallon of Mexican hot chocolate spills all over your garage floor. Final Thoughts: I am keeping it. I will pack into the car securely to prevent tipping. If is spills contents again, I will take the Airpots and gleefully toss them. Then I will purchase something that works.
