Easy to assemble and comfortable
Have had my eye on this computer / gaming chair for a while now. I absolutely love the black and purple design and it looks just as good in person. This came well packaged in a 40 lb box. Instructions were very big with pictures and clear directions with parts labeled. Put it together easily by myself in about 15 to 20 mins. Didnโt run into any issues with the assembly which was nice. This is an initial impression review but so far I love how comfortable the chair is (first day using it today). I will be completely honest and say that I would not buy this chair at full price that it is normally listed for, but I caught it for Amazon prime day significantly reduced and for the price I snagged it at I am 100% satisfied with this chair and for this same sale price would buy it again.

A perfect chair! But maybe get professional installation.
It was a pain to put together, but it's very comfortable. It's comfy enough that I don't need to put any cushions on it. It's a great size with a great color and design. The levers to adjust the seat work like a charm. It's very sturdy, even for a 200-pound guy who doesn't sit properly. This was the last thing my dad and I put together before he died. Thanks, Dad!

Good quality, bad seat angle
This is my first Respawn chair. I've had it for almost a month and chair quality is fine so far. Nothing is breaking down or anything like that which is nice. It does recline to almost any degree which is nice and the included pillow(not sure what it's called) is plush and useful. It wasn't difficult to put together. My biggest negative about this chair is that the seat doesn't recline, just the back. What happens is that you recline the back at all and it feels like you're slowly sliding out of the chair. I will recline the back a little bit then I'm inevitably adjusting my seating position because my shirt is coming up in the back. This happens even with the footrest out. This means that about every 10 minutes, I'm taken out of the game I'm playing or the movie I'm watching because I have to readjust how I'm sitting.I attempted to fix the issue by putting a few washers between the frame and the chair where the front 2 screws screw in but the change is minimal. This didn't change the angle of the seat enough(move the front up enough) to hold me in placeIf you are a gamer that sits up straight and has your feet on the floor, this might be ok. I am not. I game on PC but I like to sit back and relax when I'm playing. Hard to do when you have to adjust every 10 minutes because your shirt starts rolling up the back and whatever undergarments you're wearing that day slowly start to move into places you don't want them. Think a slow motion wedgie. The seat angle could use a rethink. I'm almost to the point where I'm going to take it apart and bend the frame to try and change the seat angle.

Well built, but no tilt recline and the leg extender is short
Be advised, there is no "tilt recline". It only goes straight back. What office chair doesn't have this? I was sure it did, but nope. The leg rest is short and therefore worthless for linear reclining. It is also very loose and works its way out without anything to secure it.This one will be given away to charity. I'm reordering a different chair. On a positive note, it's well built...

Sturdy Except For The Armrests
A sturdy, solidly built chair with a few flaws that make it creaky and feel like it won't age the best. The arm rest are at the prefect angle for both gaming and working from home, I do both alot. But I am noticing perminant wear to the armrest cushions after a pretty short time owning it.The recline is fantastic, but the mechanism that locks the recline in place is noisy, it sounds like metal versus plastic grinding until it settles into place. The recline is good though when it comes to adjusting positions after long hours, it accomidates various postures as well.Setup was pretty easy and there were extra hardware pieces included just in case they get lost. All in all I like the chair mostly, just wish they used better materials for the armrests and the grinding sound when adjusting is annoying, but I can live with it.
