Spent last couple of years living on energy drinks, managing to go to work & pretty much nothing else. I was referred for a sleep study & they did a blood test. Turns out I had mild sleep apnoea and my ferritin levels were almost non existent. Doctor prescribed me iron tablets which I took for just under a week. They were awful. I had crippling stomach pains in the middle of the night. Think my body could not decide whether I was going to be constipated or have the runs. I’ve honestly never had stomach pains like it. So I sat on the loo groaning, I live in a flat so probably woke the entire building, before deciding I was never taking iron tablets from the doctor again. Funnily enough, I was prescribed the same pills over 25 years ago when pregnant and they caused me no problems at all. Anyway I digress, feeling incredibly miserable and wondering what I had done to upset the doctor who clearly hated me to prescribe these awful tablets, I decided to take a look at what Amazon had to offer and found these. The reviews seemed to be too good to be true. No side effects for me at all, no early hours groaning, nothing. My restless legs eased very quickly. Now almost at the end of my bottle I’m feeling so much better. I don’t think they are anything as strong as the ones from the doctor but they agree with me so much better for less than the prescription charge. I’ve actually grown some nails. I rarely drink energy drinks anymore, I don’t need them to get me through work, I can climb a flight of stairs without worrying my heart is going to explode out of my chest & tho my hair is still falling out, it’s not coming out in clumps anymore. I’d say at almost 6 months, I feel 80% better than I did.

The iron tablets are tiny. I bought this specific bottle because I had anemia that hadn’t improved sufficiently with normal iron supplementation (both the NHS prescribed ones and Ferroglobin). I was hopeful but had mixed expectations as they’re not a particularly well known trusted brand and the price seemed a little bit too good to be true considering it’s supposed to contain a better form of iron. Well I’m glad to say that after a few months of taking them I’m no longer anemic and my Ferritin levels are within the normal range. I’m happy with my purchase and will continue taking a lower dose for maintenance (I should note in case it helps anyone that I took 3 pills per day based on my circumstances but this is not medical advice and obviously ask your gp or pharmacist what dose is best and safest for you, I’m only pointing this out because I think sometimes people just follow the instructions on the bottle thinking the manufacturer knows best but don’t realise that a dose that’s ideal and safest for a healthy adult man might not be the one that’s ideal for a young woman with anemia)

It's too early to say whether these are effective, but after taking these on an empty stomach in the morning I noticed feeling my usual self within a few hours. My usual iron protocol is to take iron every other day (ie every 48hrs for maximum absorption). No stomach issues after taking these, so seems good on that front. It's worth noting that you get 28mg of iron per 2 tablets, not 28mg per tablet. Seems like a good product, and the vit c that is included is a bonus!

Easy to take and very gentle on the stomach, these provide the extra boost to combat tiredness and fatigue

So far I have been using these for a week and I have noticed a slight difference! I am hoping that they will have more of an impact over the next few weeks. My only comment is that the tablets are quite hard to swallow. I have no problem taking normal and much bigger tablets, but I have found these harder to swallow than normal tablets. Other than it is worth the money!

A good alternative to the other iron I was taking. Tastes a little metallic but not too bad.

This tablets are very small , easy to swollen and do not upset my already upset digestive system additionally . Hope they help with energy maintenance a bit . Taking them ass medication not supplement .

Die Eisentabletten mögen ihre Wirkung erzielen. Jedoch schmecken und riechen sie derart metallisch, dass ich es nicht aushalten kann, sie einzunehmen. Auch im Nachgang riecht und schmeckt alles metallisch, dass mir richtig schlecht wird. Das ist aus vielen bisher ausprobieren Produkten das einzige Präparat bisher, bei dem ich so etwas feststellen konnte. Würde daher stark von der Einnahme abraten.
