Perfect replacement motor
This motor was the perfect replacement for my Delta jointer, itโs built well fits perfectly and runs smoothly, Iโm very happy with it.

Stepper bit required. Louder than other motors. Otherwise good.
As others have mentioned, you have to drill out the electrical hookup to get wiring into it. Knock outs will not remove like typical knock outs do. The wiring diagrams are illustrated clearly, and provide many use cases making this a versatile motor for 120VAC, or 208/230VAC in clockwise and counterclockwise configurations. I installed this as a replacement fan motor of a Carrier HVAC roof mounted pack unit, saving about $500 over failed OEM. The mounting hole pattern was exact. Installed 7/2026, if you don't see an update here, it must be still running and holding up to the Oklahoma heat. The motor is not as quiet as the original Marathon motor I replaced, and I can hear the drone of it in the office space below.. hope I get used to it.

Hook up box needs work!!
The wiring box is made of soft, thin metal and the welds on the knock outs will not break. I bent the crap out of the box trying to get an opening for in feed wires. Unfortunately for me the motor was already installed. I assumed the knock outs would knock out, that didn't happen. I had to remove the motor then remove the hook up box from the motor and drill a series of holes around the knock to make an opening. I then had to smith the box back to shape so I could attach it and put the face plate back on. The motor sounds good and runs fine. I hope it keeps running.

Good motor
Time will tell, but this is a very heavy, well built motor. Very well packaged. Dimensions exactly as described. Wiring clearly labeled. I am running it on 230 V. As others have mentioned , the knockouts are hard to remove without damaging the junction box. I used a step drill. I am using this with a gear reducer to power a meat mixer, so it will see intermediate use.

Wire diagram voltage is backwards
The wiring diagram was wrong, 115v and 230v are switched. Follow 230v for 115v

Need to fix the 3/8 and 1โ cap cable connector for easier remove.
The metal 3/8 connection is a nightmare to remove. It makes the box look extremely bad.
