NOT FOR SURFACE BOOK 2
The top row on the ‘Surface Book’s keyboard has a different order than the Surface Book 2. I knew this keyboard cover was for the originals Surface Book, but bought it for my Surface Book 2 thinking it had the same keyboard layout. Only two keys that are different, one is the Pg Dwn button, which I don’t care about, and the other is the keyboard brightness, which is kind of annoying to see a different label ontop of.

Esthetically pleasing but thats it....
Looks good but doesn't last. The color and letters are already fading after a few months of use. I do use my laptop daily for work but I'd expect this item to be more durable. Easy to put on, doesn't move often (unless really jolted), and easy wipe down to clean. Durability is key though and for the money this didn't last.

Lo padre de la surface book es escribir en ella, no hay teclado comparable desde mi punto de vista
Este producto la protege pero le quita la calidad de las teclas a la que te acostumbras sin usar ningún tipo de cover.¿Cómo lo uso?Uso esta cubierta cuando la S book está cerrada y apagada pero para su uso cotidiano se lo quito ya que al escribir no estoy seguro de haber presionado la tecla.

Exactly what I needed!!
I bought this keyboard cover because my surface book is missing 2 key covers. I have only found one place online that sells replacement keys, and they are $25 each. This keyboard cover was significantly cheaper, and now the missing key covers are not a problem! It stays on the keyboard with no problems. I was worried that it wouldn’t stay in place well, but I honestly don’t even notice it’s there! It’s perfect!

Just doesn't fit well enough (key thickness especially)
It's pretty but it doesn't sit perfectly on the keyboard. It sits above it. The indicator lights, like on the Fn key, don't line up, so you can't see them very well. I'm going back to the Microsoft manufactured one.

Great solution for difficult to read Surface keyboard.
Great and inexpensive solution to lack of contrast on original white on gray keyboard, making original keys extremely difficult to read in certain lighting. I wish I had found this several years ago.

good but...
It great the only issue is that the font doesn’t align with the keys so when you have the backlight on it is obscured a bit but the color.
