Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue, Dries Clear, 8 fl oz

I love this glupe because it is clear to start with and stays clear after its dry. I teach classes in how to make Junk Journals,. I normally use the clear glue with the stand up top, so it will be ready to flow. I accidentally got the white glue in January when new classes were starting. I am still convinced the clear glue holds well and is just nicer to use that a white that turns clear.

It’s funny how you don’t realize how useful a good glue is until you finally have one. I mostly do yarn crafts, so glue isn’t something I use all the time, but I picked this up for a project and ended up really liking it. The glue dries clear as advertised, and I also appreciate that it isn’t watery or runny. It has a nice consistency that’s easy to control while crafting. I also really like the bottle design. The tip makes it easy to apply, and the cap stays secure without getting dried out or clogged up. Overall, a really solid craft glue that I’m glad I purchased. Definitely recommend.

Aleene’s Clear Tacky Glue is my go to glue for all of my crafts. The clear is perfect for crafts like making Christmas Ornaments, string art or any craft that needs a clear glue. This glue is thick, but ca. still be easily spread around, or as my current product needed - dipped in to glue. It is odorless, dries clear, and is easy to squeeze out of the bottle. I grew up using the original Aleene’s Tacky Glue.There was always at least one bottle of the glue in our craft cabinet. I highly recommend the clear and all of Aileene’s line of glues.This is one product that has stood the test of time!

Good glue

Works very well for what I need it for! It’s pretty strong but not permanent, making it perfect for me, a miniature builder. Stable enough to hold everything together but not so strong I can’t pull it apart if need be. My one complaint would be that it dries semi-visible if you put too much and can take a bit to dry fully. The photo is to show its visibility. Honestly, this isn’t too bad as it’s relatively clear, making it’s not TOO disruptive.

Slower to hold and not as well as some others and as the other Aileen’s I am used to. It is perfectly clear.

Previously used Aleenes regular tacky glue but as looking for something that did not leave a residue when dry. This is the same high quality product, gives enough time to reposition if necessary but dries completely clear. Highly recommended for craft use.
