Excellent alarms, sonik really does produce the goods every time . Have used these in all weathers and they haven’t let me down at all ! Real good value for money

Awesome bite alarms, better than i hoped they would be and so many different options for use.

Great bite alarm and it does what it is supposed to do with lots of good features but they have a major problem.After only four or five fishing trips the central threaded spindle has come loose from its fixing inside the alarm and turns/spins. As a result you can no longer tighten the alarm to a bank stick/buzz bar. Perhaps teething problems for a new product but this has happened on two of the alarms that I own. Contact Sonik customer services and obtain a registration code for warranty when you purchase.

The Sonik gizmo bite alarms are probably the best midrange priced alarms on the market. All the features are excellent.The only issue is that the nightlight built into the roller wheels is very dim compared to their previous model. The nightlight feature is almost pointless even though is meant to be a low energy consumption light it's still extremely dim. Aside from that the roller wheel and snag ears are super bright when you have a take. Sensitivity and functions are 10/10.Overall score 8.5/10 due to poor night light.

I purchased these alarms as i thought the idea of the 'Illuminated snag ears" were a great idea. WRONG They are simply invisible to see in Daylight, so its basically an alarm with No LED during daylight hours.If you're ok with that then fine, go for them. A simple LED in the main unit would have fixed this, but poor field testing and design forces you to use your receiver constantly to see the odd bleep etc.Wont buy any Sonik stuff again.
