This has worked very well on electronic repair. I'm a novice, but have soldered a lot of different things over the years. I was repairing a speaker terminal, using the solder that came with a decent soldering station and I kept getting what looked to be a cold solder. I hadn't used this yet, so I broke it out and problem solved. The other solder might be okay for some applications, but this worked perfect for both small and large termination points. I used it again replacing old capacitors on a vintage turntable and again, excellent melt and flow. I do use a tiny bit of additional flux to insure a nice distribution. I'd buy it again, no hesitation.

I finally got some time to work on some electronics. I had some soldering to do. This solder works very well. I remember while in the marine corps, I was just finishing up Instructor school. and we had to pick a topic, to give a lecture on, and mine was soldering. Maximum transfer of heat, Heat the work ,ten apply the solder. It is very important to clean the work first, steel wool, or small files. I am very happy with this solder.
