A good all around condiment!
A delicious sauce that reminds me of the Taco Bell brand hot sauce in flavor, and is just a small notch above that in overall spiciness. It is not overpowering in the least and can be used on a variety of foods as a general condiment. Coming from Tabasco I was also surprised that it didn't taste like vinegar. A great all purpose sauce to add a bit, but not too much, heat to your foods.

Just what I was looking for.
I use these on frozen meat lovers breakfast burritos and even on scrambled eggs. You get a little heat and the tangy taste of salsa picante. It is not really hot though. I wanted this as an alternative to regular hot sauce. So much cheaper than buying packets and it has an easy use top to get just the right amount. It's also not runny like regular hot sauce, which is a plus. After trying some, I immediately bought a second bottle, so I don't run out. I'm still finding things to add this to for the perfect flavor.

SO Good!
I'm a big fan of so many hot sauces - and mexican varieties are some of my favorites. I was surpised that I like Tabasco Picante SO MUCH - it's one-of-a-kind taste is SO good - and especially good on eggs in the morning. Way to go Louisiana!

Health is Wealth
1st impression. I love it. It has that tobasco tanginess from the vinegar but this one has a deeper spicy flavor. Not as bright and vibrant as the original but a more deeper calmer, more powerful heat than the original. Tobaso has been specializing since before I was born probably. They are good quality and I truly adore them because they care about our health as well. Very few natural ingredients that liven up any meal. Vinegar and chilies all day.

Thicker, stickier, much different flavor profile
This is one of their better offshoots from the original Tabasco sauces. Thicker, stickier, much different flavor profile. Great on just about anything. Will continue to keep this in stock at home.

You'll have to try it or not try it since everyone has their opinion.
Tastes much different than regular Tabasco. Not sure if people will like it. I do though and it's pretty mild. I kind of prefer the regular Tabasco though for some reason. Maybe because the regular one is just classic and I feel like this Tabasco Salsa Picante is trying imitate newer trendier hot sauces.

I didn't like it on traditional Mexican foods
I really like Tobasco sauce (original pepper sauce) and the milder green sauce and have used them both for years. I also like true Mexican picante salsa of various items, like tacos. Unfortunately, the Louisiana pepper flavor did not translate well to Mexican foods for me. I really wanted to like the Tobasco salsa picante but tried it on a few things (tacos, Spanish rice) and prefer good old Mexican salsa. The sauce has hints of Tobasco flavor but I prefer the old (original and green) sauces for my non-Mexican meals and traditional salsa for Mexican foods.
