The easiest DIY fix I've ever done. Absolutely worth it.
โI bought this Woodmate Mr. Grip kit to fix a bathroom door that kept sagging due to stripped hinge screws. Honestly, I wasn't sure if something this simple would work, but it blew me away. โThe instructions are simple, and the execution is even simpler. I just used a regular pair of household scissors to snip the strips to the correct size, lined the hole, and put the screws back in. It tightened up immediately. โThe real test, however, was time. This has been in place for 6 months now in a high-traffic bathroom, and the door is still perfectly aligned. It hasn't budged, loosened, or given me a single issue since the day I put it in. For the price and the sheer convenience, you can't beat it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quick, permanent fix!

Highly effective
This repair kit is absolutely amazing. I have had a cupboard door waiting to be hung but couldn't find a carpenter, I am a 72 year old female with arthritis. I decided to have a go myself. I saw this product on Amazon and what a result. The wall cupboard door is now firmly in place. It's a fantastic result and very easy. I did not find the steel difficult to cut, you just need a good sharp pair of scissors.

Fiddly, but effective
Found this to be really fiddly to get it into the screw hole and then get the screw in, but once you've cursed at it a few times, it does what it's supposed to do.

Good concept but not easy to use
The usefulness of this product probably has to do with the relative size of the screw holes. I found with my kitchen cupboard hinge fixing that it only effected a temporary repair.

Excellent and a quick fix!
Does exactly what it needed to! I had a cross threaded MDF cupboard door and added some small pieces of this and the door is now back on and bolted. You get loads in a pack too.

Dont buy
Not working on wood, didnโt attach with screws when it goes in

Did the job just fine
I needed this to fix two items: loose screws fixing a towel rail to a shower screen, and a loose handle on the lid of a slow cooker. Each hole was small and required only a thin sliver of the fixing metal, but they have worked very well, so far (still holding solid after one week).

They work!
A bit fiddly to get into the holes, but my door handles are now back on the door for the first time in years, and have stayed put for a fortnight so far. Fingers crossed!
