These trousers are robust, good thick material and they fit UK sizing as expected. They feel good to wear and they also look smart. The only slight doubt I have is over the clasp at the waist, but time will tell and the zip feels tough. Good side pockets for depth - the back pocket is not so deep but I haven't lost anything out of it. But overall, these are the best trousers I have owned for a long time, so if like me you have been disappointed with internet trousers before, try these - well worth the money - I recommend you give these a try.

I like everything about this product typically American quality, sizing is exactly as it says.There brands are iconic and proven.In present times we tend to go for cheaper unknown makes from Asia usually and even in M&S you have to try before purchasing.The worst example is footwear now metric,no 1/2 sizes, imponderable to choose.

These are just what I wanted because I prefer ongoing predictability of the range rather than following current fashion and wondering if they will fit. I measure my waist at 32" and the 32" waist trousers fit me well and I know that when I reorder someday those will fit too. It worked to go slightly longer on the leg length seeing as they do sit higher than many modern styles. They also fit over my calves well; I am hardly well-built but some more modern "tailored"- or "straight"-leg trousers can kind of get caught. The material feels some thick and rough but the trousers feel comfortable and I expect them to be hard-wearing. The belt loops are wide and the zipper and clasp are metal. My only complaint is the side pocket shape: they are deep but they taper so each holds not much more than one rectangular thing.

Bought in a bind, I was away with work and needed some trousers. The fit was fine but the cardboard material they’re made from is pretty unpleasant to wear, has no stretch and looks inferior to anything you’d get in the middle of Lidl or George (sadly Amazon was my only option on this occasion). So bad I went with the torn ones these were supposed to be an emergency replacement for.

This is just a sizing review, I have been a 32 waist for the last 20 years and if anything have lost a little weight recently. These are very tight at the waist. Can't be bothered with the hassle of returning so will see if they give a little and use a belt. If I was buying again would go for 33 waist and 32 leg as the leg length is fine. Other reviews also give the impression that the waist dimension is tighter than a normal uk fit. Will update the review after a little wear - first impressions are that the material feels very tough - a bit like sail canvas - which is what I wanted, something that withstand cycling to work and would look passable in an office environment. Just hope there is a little give in the waist....

Good quality. I bought a long leg to get the best price and have turned the legs up. People at work (HGV driver on bulk grain) thought I was off to the pub for an evening out, they looked so much smarter than my usual overalls. I bought another pair :)
