I have been receiving some smooth, water resistent kinda sheets which are less than 300 gsm in place of the BRUSTRO hot pressed 300gsm water paint sheets for the third time, even on a replacement and a return. They have been keep on sending the wrong sheets.

I was attracted by the affordable price of this paper( hot pressed, 300gsm). However it does not hold water well. There is a lot of puddling and the brush strokes are very visible because the paint sits on the paper instead of getting soaked in. I would not recommend it for watercolour washes however it could be ok for projects which require less water, like pen and ink drawings, if one does not want to spend much money.

A little tricky to get control on.Absorbency needs to be improved.
