is this loud?? and im very curious to know about the bass??

It is quite loud when connected to a PC/Laptop, but its not very loud when connected to a smartphone. The bass is there but since these are monitor headphones they are not as punchy as they would be on other everyday use headphones.

Does it Have a metal head band?

i think metal is inside of leather body.

I generally listen to rock and heavy metal, should I go for these ? Or should I go for Sennheiser HD 449 ?

Yes. You should go for these. These headphones provide pure and detailed sound and are quite balanced. This is the best option in the price range. I did a lots of research before buying these, so I do recommend you to buy these as these headphones will give the same output as the musicians want you to listen to,unless you use any kind of equalizer or sound enhancer.
