Great for gaming, especially shooters
Tested the Monoprice Monolith's against both a pair of KZ ZS10 Pro's and Sony MDR-XB50AP's. Being planar, the monolith's had much better clarity and bass in comparison to both the KZ and Sony's (which are very bassy). I could hear footsteps when playing shooter games with the Monolith's which I could not on other earphones and gaming headphones that I own which demonstrates the quality of the audio. The main issues also raised in other reviews is comfort of the ear-clips and the cable - fixed with foam tape, and can purchase an aftermarket cable although both add to the cost of the earphones.

They wont perfectly fit everyone but still worth buying to see if they will fit you.
So initial opinion of these, I think they fixed the black ear clips issue were they snap because they did not snap for me and I even got an extra pair from them. They were a lot more durable than I thought due to all the negative feedback of the initial review units that reviewers got. but yeah they were even strong enough for me to bend them into the shape of my ear which made it a lot more comfortable. If you buy these I do not recommend the stock cable they are heavy and a bit janky. I recommend an aftermarket mmcx cable (I'm using the cable from the Tin HIFI T2) also they seem to now have a new smaller Memory foam tip so it should fit more people. However, they were still a bit too well long for me and they were rubbing up against the wall of the inner part of my ear so I just used the Tin HiFi T2 tips the blue ones and they worked for me well. overall now that I got a better cable and correct size tips how are they? They are honestly really good. in a nutshell, vocals sound very intimate like they are coming from the centre of my head and instruments sound like they are around me. bass thumps and hits clean and they sound well large.Even though they are only 22ohms I highly recommend a dedicated amp or a good DAC amp combo to get the best out of them. I did notice a clear difference between going from my PC's onboard DAC amp and my DAP. normally my DAP sounds a bit cleaner and music sounds livelier but on these the difference was the most significant I've ever heard. (keep in mind the motherboard I use is a ROG Asus Maximus VII. it's supposed to have "good" onboard audio and it does but the amp just isn't powerful enough.I would have given them 5/5 stars but the fact is if I didn't already have the cable and tips in my possession that would have added to the cost, now I can understand spending extra on the tips you have to do that with most IEMS however a decent lightweight mmcx is something that even cheap Chinese IEMS come with so they really should have gotten that right, I assume they just reused the cable form another headphone because they had extra in stock.Oh, and delivery was much faster than expected it came 2 weeks early.

A Weak copy of the Audeze iSine.
This is a really bad try at copying the Audeze iSine's. Yes it's far cheaper, But it shows! They sound horrible in comparison and the left driver went within weeks.Save your money and get the real thing. You won't be disappointed.
