Boncart Wheel Scratch Repair Kit, Silver Rim Touch Up Paint Pen

scraped about 4 inches of length on the left front new rim on my Audi TT. The silver paint kit worked fantastically. Very pleased with the results. Sand, clean and shake the paint pen. The applicator nib needs to be pressed down for a while until the paint sinks into it. This fixed a big worry. Excellent product.

Horrible product that will break the minute you try to use it. The pen, after some shaking, suddenly lost the applicator. Ok, there is another one in the box - that should have been a clue. After using it for a little bit and needing to shake the applicator again, it too disappeared inside the tube! So now we are down to the paint brush but it can't get any paint because it runs into the two other applicators that are now lodged inside. Whoever designed this system clearly never actually used it. It's that flawed.

A great little kit for a good price. No, it's not going to look perfect under a magnifying glass, but a lot of that will have to do with how well you clean and prep the area. Probably not appropriate for large scale repairs.

It was great to who’s my rims get repaired, my only complaint is that the paint is not water resistant. As soon as I wash my car the paint went away. But anyway I recommend it

I used this to repair a scratch on a bike fender. It worked reat. It was easy to use and the result is practically invisible. I would have liked a few more instructions in the box, but I watched a U-tube video instead.

Nothing spectacular. Next time I'll just get a regular full can of brand name silver wheel rim paint and a tiny paintbrush. I already have Scotch masking tape that actually sticks to the rims and tires.

I am VERY impressed with how well this covered the huge bad deep scratch I had on my wheel from having new tires installed. You can't even tell it's there even up close, and it matched my silver BMW wheel perfectly!!
