All feet are different as could be medical conditions. The shoe or sandal needs to fit properly on the foot to allow for comfort and stability with certain foot medical conditions. If the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t buy it. It’s either the style that is not appropriate for your foot injury or the wrong size.. I purchased theKauailu recovery, sandal, and a beautiful green. I’m usually pretty apprehensive about buying sandals because I have two different sizes on my feet due to a heel injury. But when I put these sandals on, I could not believe how the sandal nestled completely with my foot my heel felt comfortable and supported in the cup area of the sandal, and when that fit the art support, I could feel under my arch in, it helped to correct the rotation I have towards the inside, which is hurting my knees and my back.. I could not feel any pain in my whole lower torso, felt comfortable standing there. My feet felt stable like they were surrounded by support. I don’t often say this, but this is the first time in my life I’ve ever had a pair of sandals that I immediately slipped into that felt right for me. Sometimes we like to also buckle the sandal a little too tight, and I read reviews about the buckle, possibly breaking that could be the cause. It should be firm, but not yet so tight that you cannot slip in and out of them comfortably not necessarily easily but comfortably. You know putting stress on the buckle like having the buckle be too tight could possibly be one of the issues. I don’t know like I said you need to try these on and make sure that your foot fits into the crevice it was designed to fit in and that’s a good fit.. I’m going to be ordering more of these sandals because that’s what I like to wear even in the winter if it’s not icy or rainy. I have not walked in them a great distance yet so that will be forthcoming shortly and then I can really get a good feel but as for the fit, I couldn’t have asked for anything better cause it’s really hard for me to find shoes or sandals that fit without having to buy 2 separate size sizes. And if you look at the sandals from the side, you can see where the areas of support are and then you put them down and look down upon them. You could also see those same areas. They have tiny ridges on the soul of the sandal, so it makes it nonslip, as well as on the bottom of the sandal. It has a good grip. I did not find any object odor for the sandals and they were wrapped for shipment properly and the box did not smell like plastic or Styrofoam. When walking a short distance, I did not hear any squeaks coming from them and they stayed on my feet beautifully. A size I picked with a size 8 and I usually end up getting an 8.5 but they’re usually too big and then I slip and slide. But these these are just they’re cute and they’re sporty and they’re comfortable and they help ease the pain in my hip my knees and my feet I couldn’t ask for anything better.. as I wear them, we’ll have to see how they wear and if they keep their stability like I think they will.

Update: I bought these fabulous slides the middle of May. It’s now the first of August and I have almost zero plantar fasciitis pain. For fun and exercise, I walk about 3 miles a day (on pavement) in these. I just checked walking asymmetry on my health app and I was astonished to see that beginning the first full day of wear, I stopped hobbling, especially when rising from a sitting position. I also never take over the counter pain meds since sliding into these awesome sandals. Bonus, they still look new because I regularly wash them with soap and water. I’d give them 100 Stars if I could. Planter fasciitis be gone! While these densely cushioned slides may appear a bit clunky, they feel fabulous on the foot. Actually, I don’t think they are unattractive. I’m wearing navy blue, a color that is very pretty and in my usual size 7.5. The fit is perfect for my slightly wide feet. I made one adjustment on the right foot and expanded the band by one notch. These sandals are not foamy and super squishy, which is exactly what my podiatrist recommended. She suggested good cushioning, but not squishy because that leads to instability. I’ve worn these shoes about a week, taken several walks in them, and my foot pain is greatly diminished while I’m wearing these sandals.

These could be perfect and work well if there were not defects in manufacturing and you get sandals that have 1 sandal a little shorter than the other. I wear 8.5 to 9, and bought the 8 b/c they tend to run large. The size 8 fit. The adjustable straps are very helpful. (I had tried another pair of this brand, as they do make really cute sandals, but on those you couldn't adjust the straps and they ended up stretching out in the foot area over your arch, so I couldn't wear them). I thought these looked really sharp online, and when I got them I wondered why one sandal had room for my toes and one did not. Then I put them both on the kitchen counter with both bottoms of the sandals held together, and I saw that the left sandal was shorter than the right. Not much, but enough so that the sandal did not fit on the left foot, and only fit on the right foot. I was sad b/c these could have worked, but I had to return them. Also, another pair of this brand arrived with one platform thicker and had a higher arch than the other, so I had to return those. I was sad each time, as the sandals look attractive, and could have worked, except for the defects in manufacturing which prohibited wearing them, as both sandals would fit differently on each foot. If you have time to buy and return till you find some without defects, it would be worth it, as these are very attractive and versatile sandals at a very reasonable cost. But watch out for defects. This style does not have the cushy padding that some of this brand have, so the foot bed is firmer, and you do not sink in so far, and that way it is less exhausting to walk in them. The shape looks kind of funny when you wear them and look down at your feet, kind of like a very rounded figure 8 shape. But the side view is attractive, and that is what people mainly see when you wear them. Overall these could be a good deal if you can find some with out the minor defects.

I ordered these shoes on July 28, 2025, and I’m frankly astonished by how well they have held up over the past year. I live in NC, and I’ve worn these just about every day for a combined 6+ months. I have VERY wide feet, like EEE wide, and I typically wear a woman’s 5.5 or 6, depending on the brand. These shoes are very versatile, and I’ve worn them with shorts, jeans, skirts, dresses - everything. Even after a year of wear - they’re my indoor/house shoes over the winter months - they’re are still extremely supportive and comfortable. I’ve worn them to amusement parks, concerts, and even to the office. Very impressed and would highly recommend.

I have plantar fasciitis and a bone spur on my heel. I purchased these recovery sandals, hoping to get some relief. I was actually in much more pain after wearing them for only a couple of hours. I was hoping for more arch support. They are cute and I could see them being a great pair of sandals, but they are not practical for wearing with plantar fasciitis.

These sandals are awesome. I have a similar style from another expensive retailer that doesn’t come close to the comfort and support as these. I would wear these 24 hours a day if possible. I will be ordering another pair in Navy as well.

Well, I got these today - in the outrageous purple color! I chose these because it indicates that they had a firm sole, which works better for my over-pronating left foot. I also measured my foot and ordered a size 10. (EU 41). I will be wearing these around the house shoes this summer where I stand 8-10 hours a day working from home. My fist observation is that the whole how is high density foam, which I expected. They kinda fan out at the back which gives extra support to the heel (yay!) and they sort of curve up around the sides kind of creating a cradle for your foot. They are very comfortable. I do have some concerns about how the straps and buckles will hold up. Time will tell. But hey, If I can get four months of daily 8-10 hours wear out of these the it is $35 well spent in my opinion.

Lightweight on your feet. Leaves your feet, arches and ankles feeling relaxed and comfortable. Has multiple sizes and colors. Has adequate compression and provides compression coverage across the area where needed. None binding and durable material. Easy to use and easy to clean. Priced at an affordable level. Nice design for stylish wear with shorts or under pants.

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem offenen Schuh für zuhause, der mich durch die Zeit der Plantarfaciitis bringt. Die Sohle schmerzte nicht beim Gehen und hätte einen Lösung sein können. Aber: die Größenangaben stimmen auch bei diesem Schuh nicht überein. Eine übliche 40 (mit Tendenz zur 39) ist zu klein. Hier bräuchte ich eine Nummer größer. Das wäre ja zu lösen. Aber die Sandalen verursachen tatsächlich auch bei mir ein Kribbeln und eine Reaktion auf der Haut. Das geht für mich gar nicht und daher retour.
