the numbers are chipping and losing color - what is best to repaint them?

Permanent magic markers. I played with my elderly mother and her neighbors for years. They couldn't distinguish the yellow tiles very well so they painted over the yellow with a green magic marker - probably a Sharpie. Lasted for years. If the colors start chipping on yours, just keep painting with Sharpie or magic marker.

what are the trays like?

I would like to buy more trays. It's our favorite game to play at our Senior Center. After we had the first game, our Director bought four more games. Sadly, someone took all our blue trays and replaced them with old brown ones! Can I purchase more trays?

If a meld has 2 jokers , do you have to replace both at the same time?

The rules state that to alter any “run” or “of a kind” played on the table that has a joker in it, you must immediately replace it and play that joker with two tiles from your hand. If there are two jokers then you must replace both jokers and immediately play both with two tiles. It doesn’t specify if you need to play two tiles from your hand for each joker or two tiles and both jokers in you play but that you must play both jokers. You can not remove only one joker because that’s altering the play on the board only partially. And you can’t do that.

Why are 6 and 9's not underlined in set and no extra jokers
