I like big bass, so I use them with a subwoofer. But without the subwoofer, I could hear the bass guitar in the music. They are well worth the price. They are also easy to set up. Comparable in size and sound to the micca mb42x. Own their big brothers as well. The b65s had some build quality issues but these b40s were pretty good. Overall nice, cheap, attractive, speakers for the price. Not gonna blow anyone away with bass.
